Interim President


Dr. Robert Ventresca, Interim President, began his post-secondary career as a first-generation undergraduate student at King鈥檚 in 1989, graduating in King's Class of '93. He was appointed interim Vice-President Academic Dean (VPAD) in July 2023 and assumed the role of Vice-President Academic Dean (VPAD) in June 2024. King鈥檚 Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Dr. Robert Ventresca, Vice President Academic Dean, will assume the role of Interim President.

Dr. Ventresca obtained his Ph.D. in History from the University of Toronto and returned to join the faculty at King鈥檚 in 2000. Since then, he has achieved teaching and research excellence, with numerous publications to his name. He is also a member (emeritus) of the College of New Scholars, Artists, and Scientists at the Royal Society of Canada.
